Spirits Embrace

This image was made in Psp 10, and is my first piece using this version.
I had great fun creating this image!
I'm not sure how many layers it consists of, but l know it's between 5 and 10. The rock/cliffs were painted on an individual layer, merged and finished when in place. Each of them being painted separately to eachother.
The sky was painted in oils and in two sets of blended colors (psp 10 has a mixer pallette, enabling you to choose and blend colours before use) on different layers, merged and blended the tones together.
The water is part effect with added brushwork.
The Native American and eagle were cloned on seperate layers, placed and faded.

THOUGHTS

Many of the images l create, although they have meaning and a reason for their creation, most are pretty detailed and busy with images.
I didn't want detail in 'Solace', or in this one (Spirits Embrace).

I just wanted a raw and earthy feel!
I wanted to convey a feeling of nature!
A sense of belonging.
A feeling of being intricately linked, entwined, with lifes energies!
